Props and Costumes Preliminary Task 2

Props and Costumes:

Phone:

This will be used for two phone calls. One before the kidnapping between the husband and the wife and one after to show she's been kidnapped.

Car:

This will be used to show the husband arriving home to the house where the wife is no longer there.

Kitchen equipment (Tea-cup, kitchen knife):

This will be used to show the wife living her normal life and have a false sense of security before the kidnapping. The use of the knife in the normal setting hints to the impending act of violence.

Costumes:

 

Kidnapper:

 

He will be wearing fully dark clothes to match his dark intentions and also the practicality of not being seen before he reveals himself. He will mainly be seen only as a shadow and so this outfit will be an accessory.

Lily (Wife):

 

Since she is at home she will be in casual clothing - a jumper and sweatpants to give that false sense of security I mentioned,

Ryle (Husband):

 

He will be in a casual suit as he comes home from work.
